The following testimony comes from a young man who contacted us fairly soon after graduating from college. Raised in a Christian home, he had a history of struggling with same-sex attraction. We were happy to help him learn to walk in freedom!
What led me to contact Alive in Christ was me struggling with pornography and same-sex attraction. Alive in Christ helped me with accountability, wisdom, and support with my struggles. Not only was it praying, worshipping, and reading scriptures, but Alive in Christ gave me real, practical advice and daily ways to learn how to “Walk in Freedom.” It also gave me courage to be more open about my struggles with fellow believers.
Today, I continue to learn to walk in freedom. I am no longer in the life style, and I am consistently practicing learning to walk in freedom in my walk with God and in life. Do I from time to time have struggles or fallbacks? Yes. However, I know the truth and know God’s plan for my life, which gives me peace and hope. I am fortunate and blessed to have a body of believers around me, supporting me and caring for me each step of the way. I am thankful for Alive in Christ being a beacon of light to me when I was helpless, and putting me on a pathway to FREEDOM. –Anonymous
