It was such an honor to host the Alive in Christ ministry team at Crossroads International Church for the “Same-Sex Attraction & the Church: Compassion without Compromise” training. Ministry director Brenna Kate Simonds and the team had a great impact through sharing a challenging message of love and victory. This message of love both challenged and empowered the believers who attended to have a heart of compassion and to live out their amazing faith in a way that impacts their walk with God, their families, this local assembly and their communities.
It was my second time taking in this presentation. In both instances, I felt the presence of God living in the Alive in Christ team and have watched them not compromise their value of God, the family, and the connection to the people around them. I personally believe their message of freedom is a breath of fresh air to the body of Christ, and a great example of the scripture “substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1), for both the lost and those who are already walking with God!
