Alive in Christ will be presenting our “Same-Sex Attraction & the Church: Compassion without Compromise” seminar in September 28 in Boxford, MA (Click here to preregister and find out more details) and a shortened version of our “Equipping Youth” seminar on November 6 in Pittsfield, MA.
“Same-Sex Attraction & the Church” covers:
- LGBT peoples’ experience of faith, and how open they are to attending church
- How to effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who identify as LGBTQ+
- How to respond if someone comes out to you as gay or transgender
- How youth are framing issues of sexuality & gender
- How we can equip youth with a biblical framework for these issues
“Equipping Youth to Think Biblically about LGBTQ+ Issues” covers:
- Terminology: what LGBTQIA+ means and why it’s important
- How kids view LGBTQ+ issues and what impacts how they frame sexuality & gender
- How to help your kids if they are struggling
This training is for parents, youth leaders, educators, and pastors.
There is no need to preregister for the November 6th training.
