We are an inter-denominational, Christ-centered ministry helping men and women find freedom in their struggle with same-sex attraction. We are primarily a discipleship and mentoring ministry. We deal with basic issues of growing as a follower of Jesus Christ and believe that by growing in our relationship with God, we will progressively walk into the freedom that is found in Christ and into holiness.

Brenna Kate Simonds is an inspiring and amazingly gifted leader, and all the reports we hear from those who have participated in Alive in Christ confirm the fact that this is a compassionate and remarkably effective ministry. Somehow Alive in Christ has managed to avoid getting derailed by the endless controversies and many secondary issues that surround the subject of same-sex attraction. Instead, it has kept its focus on the Good News of Christ’s love as this translates into genuine hope, mutual support, and substantial restoration for those who struggle with same-sex attraction. Brief History of the Ministry
Alive in Christ is a direct successor to a ministry first started by Peter Robicheau in 1984. Peter was a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and later was appointed a deacon of Park Street Church in Boston. Over the next 13 years, Peter and his fellow workers ministered in a self-sacrificing way to more than 100 people seeking transformation in their sexual lives including Protestants, Catholics, and Jews, both men and women.
Peter died of a previously undiagnosed epileptic condition in August of 1997. Since that time the leadership of the ministry has included Bill Taylor, Keith Johnston, and Hugh Rutledge. The current director is Brenna Kate Simonds.
